Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy is part of, and should be read together with, our Terms of Service. It explains how refunds and subscription cancellations work for paid Velorian plans (currently Standard and Pro).

1. Overview

In short: payments are final, you can cancel at any time, and cancelling only stops future billing — it doesn't cut short the period you've already paid for.

2. No refunds

Once a payment for a Velorian plan is successfully processed, it is final and non-refundable. This applies regardless of how much of the billing period you use, whether you cancel partway through it, or whether your access is later suspended or terminated for a breach of our Terms of Service.

This "no refund" policy applies to, among other things:

  • partial or unused billing periods;
  • partial or unused features within a plan;
  • downgrading to a lower-priced plan mid-period; and
  • account suspension or termination resulting from your Organization's violation of our Terms of Service.

3. Exceptions: billing errors

The only exceptions to Section 2 are: (a) refunds required by applicable law, and (b) genuine billing errors caused by us — for example, a duplicate charge for the same subscription period due to a technical fault. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact us at support@velorian.app with your payment details, and we will investigate and correct any error we find on our end.

4. Cancelling your plan

You may cancel your subscription at any time, for any reason, by emailing support@velorian.appfrom your account's registered email address. Cancelling does not require you to give a reason and takes effect as described below.

5. What happens after cancellation

  • Your plan remains active through the end of the period covered by your last payment — cancelling does not cut off access early, and you don't lose anything you've already paid for.
  • No further recurring payment will be charged after you cancel. Once the period already paid for ends, billing simply stops — we will not attempt to charge you again.
  • As stated in Section 2, cancelling does not entitle you to a refund for the current or any prior billing period.
  • If you want to resume a paid plan after your access ends, you'll need to subscribe again, which will be treated as a new subscription.

6. Free trial

The free trial plan has no charge, so this policy's refund provisions don't apply to it. You can stop using the Service at any point during your trial without any obligation.
